Bricksters,
One problem, one PIA.
Problem:
Yesterday I noticed a "clank" coming from the right rear. This is not a rattle as described in the FAQ. The sound is like a hammer hitting a piece of sheet metal. It occurs only when I apply and release the brakes and the car is moving forward. I tried to recreate the sound in park, reverse, neutral, and drive (with the tires wedged against a curb). No sound. The sound (hammer on sheet metal) is the same on brake application, and release. I have not noticed any change in brake performance. Girling Calipers.
PIA:
I have just the opposite problem that Colin Roberts details in the FAQ. My LCD an left side backlights work, however, The light(s) for the right side of the radio (channel selection / Dolby, etc...buttons) went out. I found it strange that the radio would light from 2 different sources. I thought the light was transported via an optic like the switch lights. How difficult is it to change this, and what bulb do I need.
