My family and I take long trips at least every other month. We have a one year old and a three year old. I have been considering adding a dvd player and monitor to occupy the kids on these 4 to 16 hour trips. I would like an add-on dvd player not in the dash and a ceiling mounted monitor. Has anyone else added one of these contraptions? I would like advice, especially as to where to mount the monitor so it does not distract the driver? What size monitor is ideal, 7" or 5.6"?
