The Boge Turbo Gas are pretty good, price is reasonable, Bilstein good, price unreasonable. To do it yourself, you'l need a spring compressor (Autozone will rent/loan) and a decent assortment of tools. An air compressor w/impact gun would be a big plus as the top nut is really on there. I'd avoid Midas, find an independent mechanic.
