Thanks for the advice.
I went shopping today, looked at a lot of stuff. I'm still looking at alpine h/u. It seems that they're the best deal for price versus name/quality. I also will not buy a flip down face h/u. I don't like it when part of my dash rearranges itself.
check out what I just bought, not the greatest, but cheap. Please let me know what you think, positive/neg. feedback welcome.

Money is a huge factor here. I think I'm going to skip the 6x9s I'll need an amp and it just snowballs from there. Well, I might as well get a 4ch amp and then power the door speakers off of that and.....
