You are correct in seeking the wisdom of don obi-one fawster....I assume that when you hit button light is out??

I am pretty much Mr. M46, but my 245Ti was orginally equipped with an AW-71.

1) Troubleshoot all the wiring...sometimes clicking means nada, if the white wire is cut...what happens electrically at the solenoid?

2) Have you taken the solenoid out? Blow all the orifices out with compressed air.

3) yes clean the screen - but I dunno if it'll help.
