vibration question 700 1985

This only applies to aligning the two halves of the driveshaft itself. If you didn't separate the front half from the splines of the back half, you don't have to worry about anything.
The orientation to the 4 bolts of the drive plate on the trans output shaft and the differential pinion doesn't matter.

If you have a speed related noise or vibration, that seems to be from the driveline, I'd suspect the center bearing on the driveshaft. When replacing it, it will be helpful for you to know if it's a 2-inch or 1.75 inch diameter driveshaft. Also replace the rubber bearing carrier.

A tire balance will be felt mostly through the steering wheel, if the tire in question is movd to the front of the car. Always have your tires spin balanced and never tighten your 740's wheels with an impact wrench. Torque wheels by hand.
