It was the flame trap 200 1987

Just came back in from working on the car. Got the flame trap out and it was caked solid. I actually had one from the last tune-up (never used it) and put it in place. Let the engine warm-up and revved it a bit and NO OIL. I guess I'll go back next weekend and make sure to check the other sources of trouble you identified.
