Yes, an '89 or better is a great car. If you haven't test-driven a 740 yet you might consider that, *most* people agree that they are more comfortable and share the same virtues as the 240, for about the same price.

3K is a decent price if the entire front suspension has been replaced, along with all engine and transmission oil seals.
