Speedometer problems 700

I just bought a used 740/1990 and after two days the speedo started acting funny. I read your posting hgere and decided to look at the wiring coming out of the back of the differential. I didn't have to look very far as I saw one of the wires coming out of the connector had broken off. Thanks so much for the postings. After fixing the wire everything came back perfectly. This was an easy fix.
