Air flow sensor slow to drop 200 1979

Hello,

Sounds like real fun!!! If I was closer I'd come over to help you myself. The airflow plate should take a few seconds to drop from full extension. Undo the blot, it's a 10mm if memory serves me correct, spray a rag and clean it all up. Just make sure that there is no interference when you reinstall the disc, it's not too hard to line up. As far as the rest of it is all concerned, you may want to replace the injector seals as you have it all apart already, but be very liberal with carb cleaner. Once you do get it all back together and attempt the restart, it will be a little temperamental, but it will kick over and send a large cloud out the back. Just when you are reassembling everything make sure that the wiring harness that clips on to the mass flow plate makes good contact. Other than that....

Happy Bricking!!!
