PCV valve?????????? 700

Regardless of model you have a PCV valve. The only difference in this area between most of the models is between the turbo and the NA.

The turbo doesn't have a flame trap at all; rather, the PCV hose goes straight down through the intake manifold to teh oil separator from the split hose that sits above it (one hose in from turbo air hose, one hose out to separator, one hose out to intake manifold for vacuum).

The NA basically has the same set-up, but it has a flame trap that sits above the oil separator right below the intake manifold (kinda squeeezed in there).

If you are experiencing excess crankcase pressure you should clean out everything, including the hoses, replace the separator, and clean the flame trap (if you have an NA vehicle). It's an easy job as long as you have a long socket wrench and some nimble hands. One suggestion; drop the oil separator down past the firewall instead of pulling it up and out. MUCH less messy.
