Block Leaking Under Exhaust Manifold (porosity?) 900 1993

I've been losing about a half pint of coolant per tank of gas recently and have finally traced the problem to right below the exhaust manifold - green deposits and presumably hairline cracks.

As this is nowhere near a gasket I'm guessing I've got the infamous "block porosity" problem. I'm curious if anyone has successfully treated the problem..jb weld, etc?
