radio problems 700 1986

The orange and black wires with the single spade connectors are the power and ground for your cigarette lighter!!!!!! Don't let them dangle or sparks will fly!!
Just reconnect them to the back of the cig.ltr. next to the EQ. As for the popping
Maybe you need a noise filter. The Yellow radio harness wire (clock memory) seems to have one on my car.
