Seeking alignment knowledge 200 1981

I got this helpful hint when doing ball joints on my 1979 245, from my Indie Volvo Tech, Nils: Adjust the toe-in until the front measurement is 1/16 inch smaller than the rear. That will get the car driveable, so you can take it to a professional shop. It was hard, he was right about using a Pro for alignment.

I your case, marking the strut tower bolts and plates first would be good. Just good enough to get to a professional Volvo shop.

Good Luck,

Bob
