B30F vs B30E 140-160


There isn't much difference between the E and F. On some
cars I think the map sensor on the fuel injection is different.
The main difference is mostly in compression ratio, though.
The B20F can be made into most of a B20E just by milling down
the head until you get the B20E compression ratio. There were
suppose to be some porting differences between the E and F but
I think most of the power difference comes from the CR. The
cam and pistons are the same between the two.

The E did make it to america, but only in the first couple
years (1970 1800, 1971 1800 and 142e, I think).
