Timing Belt Change Time ('90 744)

At 187k, you probably want to change all three front engine seals and the timing belt tensioner along with the belt itself, if these have not been done before.

Removing the crank bolt without the special 5284 tool is a little daunting for the amateur mechanic. Since the hours involved in doing this are so few, this might be the time to have your mechanic do it.
