My first Volvo was a 1975 245DL. It was a pushrod engine with a weird FI control system that quit when it knew you were in dire need, like en route to the airport for the daily flight to London.

Next was a 1979, that had Lamda Sond (O2 sensor) but no AMM.

Go get the Volvo Wiring Diagram Manula for your car. It's priceless.
