At the financial other extreme, I occasionally pull them at a pick and pull when I see an uncracked rubber sleeve. They are on every B230F and FT and some are fine, though rare, and can be found. $10 and 15 minutes to replace (loosen crank bolt, loosen alternator and prplace), and I am running again. The cheapskate's way of keeping a Brick in top shape.
