Sure, it's actually pretty simple. Altho I may not be the best person to be taking advice from (I ended up with a small collection of extra wire and extra parts when I put the cluster back in, but everything works).

Have you removed the cluster yet? If not, do that.

I haven't pulled the tach out of mine, but I believe you'll want to remove the eight big screws holding the PCB onto the cluster, and pull the PCB out. Then you can remove the remaining screws that hold the clock in and pull the clock out.

IIRC there should be a three pronged connector that will fit on the top connections. It should be fairly self evident.

The only other plug I hooked up was for coil wire, I believe mine was red/yellow., and it was (again IIRC) the only striped wire back there. I suppose the other plug is a ground, but I didn't see any other free black wires.

So far so good.
