Volvo factory radios that run a Volvo (Alpine) changer

None of the factory standard DIN chassis models control a CD changer.
The only alternative for keeping one of these is to use the FM adapter kit (Blaupunkt makes a nice one) that gives you a separate remote keypad and transmits to your factory radio by connecting inline with the antenna cable.

There's almost no installation to do other than plugging in the antenna, and mounting the CD changer control panel with some velcro tape (it's credit-card sized.)

Most manufacturers offer something that will adapt like this. You keep all your factory wiring and speakers, etc. No mods to the car besides mounting the unit in the trunk.
