WATER IN MY BLOWER FAN!! WHY??

There is a molded plastic shield under the cowl on the passenger side which covers a large inlet to the fan housing. It can be reached by removing the cowl. The cowl is held in place by three or four screws reached from the engine compartment up near where the wire loom runs horizontally across the rear of the engine compartment. Then slide the cowl forward disengaging it from a bunch of clips.

I had water running down around this plastic shield into the motor housing and then onto the floor. Recaulking with body caulk did the trick
