Twisted-Off Spark Plug

I had a similar situation happen to me.

I removed the intake and exhaust manifolds. Plug both the exhaust and intake hole for whichever cylinder. Now take a shop-vac and place it airtight to the spark plug hole, and turn on. If the pieces are small enough (which they should be) they will come out. If not, position the cylinder TDC. Try plugging the spark plug hole, now place shop-vac over intake hole. IF either doesn't work, than yes remove the head.. IF it does work, than don't forget to replace both the exhaust and intake seals.

These are only suggestions, so use your own judgment.

Good luck,

William Roselli
