lost bolt on intake manifold --- will it cause problems later?

One problem it could cause is an air leak .... well known to be cause of engine running difficulties.

I'm suspicious that my B230F has an air leak in that manifold gasket - it may be the reason for a brief "no acceleration, backfire, stumbling idle" condition on my '86 245 during warmup...

hoping it's the O2 sensor instead since I don't want to take the time to replace the intake manifold gasket (and clean any carbon off of my valves).
