Pulling in-tank fuel pump, what to do while in there?

There are two grades of fuel resistant hose. The lower grade ("e:?) will buy you a couple of years but it will eventually swell and slip and cause problems. It will buy you a couple of years though. If you can find the higher grade hose ("f"?) it will be more permanent. Best is the Volvo hose.
