Fuel preferance? 1800

I'm wondering what fuel people prefer for their 1800's? Premium, regular... I'm using a lead replacement additive, but, fuel can be quite costly. If they run healthy with normal gas, I wouldn't mind. I have a b18 engine that's in excellent running order, I won't worry about babying it too much, if I don't need to.
