240 won't start

Thanks, I'm not a great mechanic, but I'm trying. Have'nt worked on a car since the late 70's.
I checked the fuse by the battery and it was fine. Then I looked under the passenger side kick-panel (is it near where your left foot would kick?)
Anyway, it all looked ok.

Then I checked the fuse box under the dash,and found that the fuel pump fuse was knocked loose,
the battery had been re-charged, I hit the key and she started. Dumb.

I have a Haynes 240 series manual, and it helps.
