Tips for changing front disc pads on 240

Easy as pie.

Well I wouldn't use cheapie Autozone, et al pads. See if the good import parts store has some known brands, if not buy Volvo - but$$$....I cannot recommend PBR Deluxe anymore.

Just make sure all is very clean. I like to use SilGlyde on the BACK of the pads - not necessarily for the inexperienced - DON'T use the Red CRC brake goo - that sh&t s#cks.

Push the pistons back. You don't need special tools for 240's. Scuff the rotors up. When fully disassembled, clean with one can of brake cleaner per wheel (after cleaning all the big dirt and scuffing the rotors with emery paper)

I like to use new hardware if worn at all, along with coating it with Copaslip (antisieze)

Self explantory really.
