Get under the auto with a pair of pliers or needle nose, and some spray cleaner.
At the solenoid, clean and tighten the two terminals that push onto the solenoid. Pay attention to the point where the wire insulation is crimped to the terminal including the other end of the ground wire. The wire inside breaks but the insulation holds everything together but electrical conductivity is intermittant as the wind under the auto blows the wire around.
While under there, trace the yellow wire up to the connector and see if it is loose or damaged.
If that is not it, your relay is probably flaky.
