What is the knock sensor????

In my opinion its the easiest sensor to replace on the whole car, its on the front of the block right side, it will adjust the timeing to elimenate knocking and yes they can go bad but it is rare i onoly know this because oddly enough mine just went bad not to long ago, it has 1 blots through the center of the sensor.
