yeow!
I have pics on my site of a external pump and filter. They are mounted side
by side under the car... it sounds like a sticky air bypass valve to me tho.
also have some pics on that.. it is a VW bus site.. look for the volvo link.
I am rehabing a 84 DL wagen for my daughter.
You have two pumps and two filters... picture is worth a thousand words though.
