Starting in m/y 1990, the Turbo cars have 2.4 Jetronic.
Now, skipping out on the handful of late-build 88s with 2.4, or the one or two early build 90 Turbos that could have theoretically still had 2.2, it is considered an acceptable standard that ALL 1990 Turbo Volvos had LH 2.4 Jetronic injection. While there was a slight variation in the 1988 non-turbos (some late built 88s had 2.4 reportedly) I think it is safe to assume you have 2.4 JEt.
Knowing this, you can almost guarantee yourself that it has 2.4 jet. If it has a "Check Engine" light, it has 2.4 Jet. If it has the ign/injection diagnostic center, it has 2.4 Jet.
Basically, it has 2.4 Jetronic and the original airflow meter was the "016" part.
The 007 airflow meter might work in exchange, but the real part is the 016.
