Our 95 964 is the same way except off even more, I have to usually set it st 78 or 80 dregrees to maintain 70. When you figure this one out, let me know because I'd like to repair it if it isn't too expensive. P.S. I'm, with you, I don't need automatic climate controls, a simple dial or slide has always served me well. I can do my own adjusting. In fact, I prefer it.
