I use a product made by DAK, called Fun.Tak. It is a re-useable adhesive, light blue in color. It's primary use seems to be attaching paper notes to walls. It does not leave any mark or residue when removed.

Both my car and my wife's car have this product under the shift pattern indicator. No more buzzies!
