240 radio compatability???

My 92s fm section went out in 95 which isn't great. I went with a Blaupunkt unit/cd player and face plate to fit volvo for about 180us. Crutchfield sent me an adapter plug to bypass the factory amp and it's been working great ever since. My fm modulated sony cd changer still works and it is a 92 model.
