Those things that cover the rear window

78: If you're talking about the rear window louvres, and I think you are, and should you really feel the need to have them, please make sure you can find the metal ones. The newer style, which have been around for many years now, and until recently, have been hawked through JCWhitney, are made of ABS plastic, look absolutely terrible, don't fit right, rattle, and get brittle and self-destruct in a very short time. My opinion is that even the metal ones don't really look that good in real life, but that's just me. The louvres look the best on a hatchback or slope-back rear window (eg. Firebird/Camaro, Corvette, Nissan 240/260/280Z, and particularly good on an MGB-GT) but add nothing to the rear of a sedan. I'm sorry, but I can't recall the suppliers of even the ABS ones, let alone the metal slats, but good luck in your hunt. My opinion is that whichever way you go, you'll be disappointed.

Brad
