Went out and cranked one more time. Sputter sputter at idle. I floored it and it came to life. After it cleared all the unburned gas out of the cylinders, it idled and ran fine. even restarted fine with no throttle. Hmmm. Now I'm wondering if there's a problem with the cold start system and it's way too rich.
