cracked exhaust manifold

The epoxy I found (they call it "metal weld" or something) is supposed to be good to 2000 degrees-F. And the repair would not require removing the manifold -- just apply it to the crack, and see if it holds (That's why I was thinking I have nothing to lose. If it doesn't hold, then I'm no worse off)

Again, any thoughts/input on the subject are appreciated.
