'95 965 Idles rough

I have done this on my 965. However, I could not get to the bolt(s) below the thermostat (near cylinder 1). I think that I also had trouble with one other, somewhere around cyl 4. Did you have to take the whole thing apart to get to all of the bolts, or is there some trick?
