Fill plug bolt size for M46 tranny

I've seen a couple of sizes for the fill plug. I am working on an 86 now that
has a small size plug. I believe it was 13mm. If yours is a big bolt it's probably 22mm or 7/8" wrench should also work. I bought my case of filters from FCPGroton.
