sounds like the hose that controls your wastegate..repalce IMMEDIATELY...

get one from your nearest volvo dealer! NOW!

if its what i think lose it and you loose your wastegate - you can go into ever increasing boost....your fuel cut off should save the engine..if its workign right ,,,but i wouldnt bet my engine on it!
