AW71 starts in 2nd

Has new engine and trans mounts.
The shifter is in drive or 2nd when it starts in 2nd, shifter moves the full range of trans lever.
Kick down cable is not pulling until throttle moves, and pulls all the way at full throttle.
Lube would help if it were shifting too late.
It currently shifts a little too soon when shifting automatically.
