to fix or not to fix 200 1978

I have a 1978 that I got recently with only 8,500 miles on it. I have since spent over $1,200 getting it running. As one of the posting said, you'll need to put rubber on it among other things. If I'd know all the work this car was going to be I don't think I would have bought it. Let it go.
