How do you brake with ABS in the snow?

ABS is not designed to shorten the distance to stop. Very bad myth about abs. It does allow you to control the direction you desire. The control unit is quicker and more precise with pumping the brakes than a human under stress. Jets use a similar system called anti-skid to keep us stupid pilots from blowing out tires, ruining expensive brake systems and to maintain directional control.
