Quickie alternator conversion 140-160

Yeah! It'll work-- I replaced mine a few years ago with the French regulator just because... well, it was French. And that seemed cool. Wait-- perhaps the SEV and Marchal are different. I dunno. In any case, the Marchal works fine with the Bosch alternator. It may be, however, like so many other of my electrical experiments, that it really DOESN'T work but like the cartoon roadrunner who never studied the law of gravity and can walk out into the air without plummetting to his(/her?) death, it has never failed. Next time I start it there may be an explosion and I'll turn into a pillar of salt... My latest experiment with the car's hacked electrical system was to hook the horn up to the blinker-actuated headlight flashers (I needed a new way to honk at people because the column, um, caught fire *ahem* and melted the horn contact). It works great and looks cool when your lights flash n'sync with the horn, but a curious anomoly now takes place; When the rear-window defroster switch is on (the switch actually controls the red motorcycle light I bolted to the top rear and not the defroster lines) and the car is off, key in my pocket, the headlights stay on. Sometimes they go off when I turn off the rear-window-defroster-actuated-anti-tailgating-motorcycle-light/laser, sometimes not. BTW, the laser remains off. Who wants pudding??
