I forgot something 140-160 1968

The ideal mixture is 50/50. The reason: If you exceed 50 percent anti-freeze, then the continous phase is the antifreeze, and it is the amount of water that affects the freezing point of the anti-freeze, rather than the other way around. At 50/50, you get the maximum freezing point depression, or lowest freezing point. If you mix 4:2:1 as you mentioned, you will have little anti-freeze benefit. As far as the anti-freezing function, you might as well use water. There would be some anti-corrosion benifit, I suppose.
