Bran,

Thanks for the detailed response. I learned the hard way about detailing. I showed a '80 DL in the modified class in Knoxville a few years ago. Placed 3rd but could have done better if I had spent more time just cleaning up the engine compartment. Elbow grease is cheap. I've seen some of the real serious competitors and I'm in it more for the fun. I spend a lot of time talking to the other owners and the judges in order to do better next time.
