This is a new one on me. But you might want to get together with Hoosier; he wants his apart and you want yours together. Hoosier's thread

You might see if Rob will send you a readable version of his exploded view of your exploding knob. Personally, I'd take a couple open-end wrenches and a 1-lb hammer to the junkyard as an alternative to trying to find new parts.
