crank sensor? 200 1989

Thanks for your tips, Rob!

As an owner of an '83 with LH 2.0 and '87 LH 2.2, you're right on target with the fuel pump relay. I've just been marginally aware of the new components of this '89 with the LH 2.4 and the EZ ignition system -- exactly where is the crank sensor located -- bellhousing, correct? Bentley's has a description, but no illustration. Is it more easily reached from inside the engine compartment or from underneath with the car up on ramps?

Also -- the 'power stage' concept is new to me. Should I just replace the sucker pro forma or drive around with a spare? I don't even know where the thing lives -- Bentley's has a black and white sketch of the LH 2.0 and a disclaimer ("other LH systems are similarly configured") -- not much help.

Picking up the car tomorrow evening; it's snowing out now, so I might not get to this for a couple of days.
