*940 and 740 Differences?* 200

With respect to powertrains, they are basically the same. First year(s) of 900 depending on location, available with 16v, and turbo, as well as B230F 8-valve. Same as 700.

700 and 900 both have SIPS in 1992 model year. Both have locking diffs on north american, naturally aspirated models in 1992. Turbos (700/900) supposedly have it in 1991.

With respect to wagons, the 700 and 900 are VIRTUALY identical with exception of the seating.
