You are likely to find rust beneath the butyl rubber seal, so the windshield will have to be removed to completely eliminate the problem. Have them pull it on a Friday, do the work on the weekend, then return on Monday morning for the new windshield installation. Use POR-15 rust products. See the FAQ for more information.
